LRO now offers a high-country, horse-powered taxi service for the true adventurer looking to get to the most remote parts of the Weminiche Wilderness, but with a little less ‘heavy lifting’ up the mountain. LRO will provide transportation from the trailhead to the wilderness destination of your choice; following your time of solitude, we return to bring you back down the mountain. Perfect for those who want rugged adventure with flexible support in quickly getting in/out of the wilderness.
Guests are responsible for the following:
- All camping gear, including tent, sleeping bags, etc
- All food & beverages
- Fishing gear (see optional add-on below)

For the high-country angler, LRO options include:
- Pre-trip fishing guide for selection of fly fishing spots, and/or
- LRO provided fishing gear, including rod, reel and flies
LRO has mastered the art of back-country cooking. We can send you off with:
