Our Legacy Pack Trip offers a versatile backcountry experience designed to match your preferred style of adventure. Guests may choose a comfortable stationary base camp, a progressive camp that travels by horseback each day, or a scenic lake camp with float boats for remote water access. Meals may be prepared by your camp cook using your selected menu or provided through Longridge Outfitters’ meal plan. Fishing can be enjoyed by self-guided or fully guided, with professional fishing guides available to assist throughout the trip. This flexible program is ideal for anglers seeking authentic mountain travel, exceptional fishing, and a trip tailored to their pace and preferences.
Guests are responsible for the following:
- Sleeping bags, pads and bedding
- Fishing gear (see optional add-on below)
LRO provides the backcountry camp setup, including tents and cookware. An accompanying cook/wrangler will attend to the camp and the horses. Camp Style Options include:
- Stationary base camp
- Progressive camp using horses each day
- Camp at lake w/ float boats
The camp cook/wrangler will prepare all meals. Food options include:
- LRO Meal Plan - client chooses from a set menu, or
- You provide the meal plan and ingredients
High country fishing, hiking and photography will be available. Options include:
- Fishing guide
- LRO provided fishing gear, including rod, reel and flies
