Your private wilderness outpost for self-guided mountain adventures
Our Outpost Camp offers anglers, hikers and photographers a true backcountry experience with the convenience of a fully established camp. Longridge Outfitters provides transportation, camp setup, cots, cookware, chairs, a wood stove, and firewood, while guests bring their own fishing gear, food, and bedding. Optional add-ons include horses for daily transport, daily check-ins, and mid-trip resupply — giving you freedom and flexibility to enjoy remote fishing or hiking at your own pace.
Guests are responsible for the following:
- All food & beverages
- Sleeping bags and bedding
- Fishing gear (see optional add-on below)
Options:
LRO provides a fully established backcountry camp, complete with tents, cots, cookware, chairs, wood stove, and some firewood. Optional Add-Ons include:
- Daily Check-ins
- Mid-trip resupply, including firewood
- Water filter supplies
- Fishing Gear, including rod, reels and flies
LRO provides you with a high-country horse-powered taxi service right to the Outpost. Optional add-ons include
- Horses and wrangler in camp for daily transport around the area
Non-horseback Outpost Camp - LRO can accommodate clients who don’t wish to ride a horse, but still want to access the beautiful mountains. Locations are limited.
