There are several activities available on our Backcountry Treks. One includes taking in the breathtaking views only visible while on the back of a horse. If you are into photography, Long Ridge Outfitters can get you to vantage points that are some of the best in the country. For those who want to see wildlife, we have some of the best. Elk, deer and moose are just some of the animals that may roam by while on your day trip. And for Anglers, we are your taxi service to high country streams and lakes. A Fishing Guide can be provided, or we can leave the fun of catching and netting to you. Either way, we will get you to the water where a fifty fish day is very common. Brook Trout, Cutthroat and a few Browns are all just a short ride away!

- Day Ride: Jumper Lake - 3 hr ride and fishing
- Day / Overnight: Ruby Lake - 2 hr ride and fishing, during the day ride we can go to Texas Creek and over towards Papoose camp
- Day / Overnight: Trout Creek - ride and fishing
- Overnight: Goose Creek and Goose Lake - all day ride and overnight camping
