Long Ridge Outfitters partner, Clint Leggett has been part of LRO for the past 10 years, helping build the operation through a deep passion for the outdoors and mountain lifestyle. Originally from North Texas, Clint and his wife, along with their three daughters, made the move to the Colorado mountains in 2020 to fully embrace life in the high country. His commitment to family, wilderness, and authentic backcountry experiences continues to shape the values and reputation of Long Ridge Outfitters.

Long Ridge Outfitters partner, Greg Pearson moved to the area more than 20 years ago and has built a life centered around family, faith, hunting and outdoors. Alongside his wife and daughter, they own and operate Freemon's Guest Ranch and the well-known Freemon’s General Store, famous for serving some of the best hamburgers in the valley. An outdoorsman, Greg has a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and sharing the mountain lifestyle.

Long Ridge Outfitters partner, TJ Karam has been involved with Long Ridge Outfitters for more than 20 years. Based in Texas, TJ, his wife, and their two children spend much of their summers and fall hunting seasons in Colorado, where they stay heavily involved in day-to-day LRO activities. TJ especially enjoys horseback riding, packing game out of the backcountry, and the great nightly conversations and camaraderie that come with life in hunting camp.

With over 40 years of experience guiding hunters and anglers across Colorado and beyond, Raymon Kemper has built a career around a deep passion for the outdoors and a lifetime pursuit of big game. From managing an Orvis-endorsed lodge and the Rio Grande Angler fly shop to serving as Head Guide for Longridge Outfitters, he has guided more than 170 bull elk harvests along with countless mule deer and moose hunts throughout the Rockies and Alaska.

Though he’s hunted and fished around the world, Colorado remains home—where the sound of a bugling bull elk, a moose grunting in the willows, or a mature mule deer silhouetted on a ridge still fuels the same passion that started it all back in 1985.

Garrett Burkhart moved to the area in 2025 with his wife and two young children to fully embrace the mountain lifestyle and become part of the Long Ridge Outfitters family. Originally from Kansas, Garrett is a lifelong outdoorsman who is dedicated to making every summer adventure and fall hunting trip a memorable experience for clients and guests alike. His wife, Mika Burkhart, oversees the LRO horse training program and plays a key role in preparing dependable, capable horses for the backcountry season.
