Long Ridge Outfitters offers a true backcountry hunt experience for those who want the freedom to hunt independently while still enjoying the comfort of a professionally outfitted camp. Hunters will stay in fully equipped LRO wall tent camps with meals prepared by an LRO camp cook.
Breakfast will be ready before each day’s hunt, a sack lunch will be provided, and hunters return each evening to a hot meal and comfortable camp atmosphere.
Hunters need only bring their personal gear, rifle, ammunition, bow, arrows, sleeping bag, and game bags. A recommended gear list will be provided upon booking.
No horses will remain in camp during the hunt.
Hunters are responsible for traveling to and from hunting areas each day and for transporting harvested game back to camp. Game packing is provided from camp to the trailhead, provided game is brought back to camp, properly quartered, and placed in game bags. Additional charges may apply if these conditions are not met.
Details regarding weight limits and recommended gear will be provided upon booking and included in the hunt contract.
